Jules Armand Diotte

Jules Armand Diotte, Jr., 84, of Pittsboro, NC, formerly of Northbridge, MA, died peacefully on September 20, 2023.  He was the son of the late Jules Armand Diotte, Sr., and Florida Rose (Belanger) Blanchard.  He grew up in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years Joyce (Silbor) Diotte, his daughter, Catherine (Diotte) Masterson and her husband, Paul Masterson of Chapel Hill, NC, and his son, Alan Diotte and his wife, Lisa (Mateer) Diotte of Douglas MA. He is predeceased by his eldest son, Armand J. Diotte. Grandchildren: Justin Merchant-Muise of Milford, MA, Paul R. Masterson and his wife, Diana (Smith) Masterson of Mebane, NC., Dr. Christopher A. Masterson of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Spencer A. Diotte of Douglas, MA, and Owen J. Diotte of Douglas, MA. Great Grandchildren: Catherine A. and Mackenzie J. Masterson of Mebane, NC. Numerous nephews and nieces.

Armand attended Uxbridge schools and St. Mary’s High School in Milford, MA.  He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Bon Homme Richard 1956-1960.

Armand worked most of his life with Coppus Engineering as a foreman in the machine shop. Prior to that he was employed at Whitin Machine Works. He retired in 2003.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Calling hours will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2023 Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 36 Snowling Road, Uxbridge, MA.  Funeral Mass will take place at 10 am on Saturday, September 30 at St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St. Whitinsville, MA. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Gentiva Hospice (https://www.gentivahs.com/about/donate) or Sanford Health and Rehabilitation Memory Care Unit, 2702 Farrell Road, Sanford, NC 27330
