Juanita Maynard Obituary
Uxbridge- Juanita M. (Gardner) Maynard, 75, died Mon. Nov 14, 2022 after an illness. Her husband of 51 years, Harry J. Maynard died June 19, 2017.
She is survived by her son Donald W. Maynard of N. Brookfield; 2 sisters Nancy Piper of Northbridge and Verna Dallaire of Douglas; a brother Ken Barry of Uxbridge; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Born in Worcester, MA on Dec 13, 1946 she was the daughter of William T. Gardner and Cecelia G. (Boucher) Barry. She was predeceased by her step-father Norman E. Barry.
Juanita was a 1965 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Milford and later graduated from Becker College. She worked for Beaumont and St. Camillus Nursing Homes as Director of Food Services and later at H&R Block in their Worcester and Brockton offices, managing the payroll department. She enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo and computer games. She was a member of St. Mary and St. Peter’s Churches.
Her funeral will be held Mon. Nov. 21 at 10 am in Tancrell Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sun. Nov. 20 from 4 to 6 pm. To leave a condolence message for her family please visit http://www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
