Uxbridge- Joseph Edward “Ed” Tancrell III, 91, passed away on Sun., March 24, 2024 at Beaumont of Northborough after a period of declining health.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, M. Constance “Connie” (Senecal) Tancrell; his daughter Anne E. Rayner-Cyr  and her husband Matthew Cyr of Milton, VT; a granddaughter, Katherine C. Rayner of Troutman, NC, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Fostine Lajoie, Robert Tancrell, Richard Tancrell, and Norman Tancrell.

Born in Milford on March 30, 1932 he was the son of J. Edward and Dorothy (Morgan) Tancrell and grew up in Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High school and proudly served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
