He also owned and operated  Stan’s General Repair, fixing cars on the side. Creative and talented, he was affectionately known in town as the Mechanic Magician and the Carburetor Man.

Family was everything to Joe. Sundays and holidays were always for spending time with his wife and kids, especially at the “garage café” at his daughter’s home. He also built a motorcycle which he rode in the Northbridge Bicentennial parade. Always devoted to his wife, Joe loved taking day trips with Nancy, especially to the Ledges Lake in Vermont. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church. His family would like to thank Advinia Care and Salmon Hospice for their outstanding care and support.
