Joseph Gniadek Obituary

Uxbridge-Joseph S. Gniadek Jr., 70, of Garden St. passed away at home suddenly after being stricken ill on Sat. July 10, 2021.

He is survived by 4 children, his "Pride and Joy", Taurie Gniadek of Blackstone, Sherri Gregoire of Venice, FL, Melissa “Missy” Oikle of Sutton, Eric Mason of Providence, RI; 8 grandchildren, DJ, Dawson, Dylan, Jack, Olivia, Brie, Trevor, and "the light of his life" his beloved Vianna "ViVi", and a grandson on the way; his mother, Frances M. (Merolli) Gniadek of Venice, FL; cousins and many good friends. Born in Milford, MA on Nov 2, 1950 he was son of the late Joseph S. Gniadek Sr. and was proud to be an Uxbridge resident all of his life.

Joe worked the late shift at Hannaford’s Supermarket the past several years. Previously he worked for Imperial Distributions and Avery Dennison Corp. A graduate of Uxbridge High School, Joe was well known in the community for his positive attitude, his strength, and words of wisdom. He was a hard worker who loved nature, feeding the birds, his home, and most of all his family. Joe was a former Golden Glove Boxer, and an avid softball fan. He played in his younger years, and later coached Taurie's team with great success. He was a loving son, father, papa, and friend and he will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

As Joe would say “Throttle up every single day of life, because time flies is for real”
