Joseph Boisvert Obituary

Northbridge - Joseph H. Boisvert Jr., 67, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. His wife and partner of over 25 years, Nancy A. (Nolet) Boisvert died on January 8, 2025.

         He is survived by his daughter Michelle Stancati and her husband Nick of CT; with a granddaughter on the way, 2 grandsons, Owen and Evan of Hudson; two sisters, Julie Isabelle and her husband Jim LaLiberty of Uxbridge and Joanne Boisvert of Douglas; his former wife and good friend, Rebecca (Berry) Boisvert of Whitinsville; a nephew, Stephen Isabelle of Douglas, Travis LaLiberty, step-mother Rebecca Young, step-children Darlene L'Etoile and her husband Michael of RI, Tammy Ranslow and her husband Robert Bulris, Steven Ranslow and his wife, Susana of CT, and TJ Ranslow and his wife Dawn, of MA, several step-grand and great-grand children; as well as cousins, extended family, and many great friends. He was also predeceased by two sons, Joseph and Michael Boisvert.

           Born in Milford on June 29, 1957 he was son of the late Joseph H. Sr., and Marguerite (Bachand) Boisvert and was raised in Uxbridge. A graduate of Uxbridge High School, he was employed as a machinist for the former Ambur Machine Co. Inc. in Northbridge over 40 years.  

         Joe was a very happy and uplifting person. He lived life to the fullest and was always the center of the party. Easy going, Joe often “went with the flow” and enjoyed going to concerts, cookouts, and spending time with his friends and family. He had many hobbies, some of which included; fishing, cooking and riding his Harley. He will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful man who was always there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. Joe will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. 

         As to his wishes, Joe will be cremated and a Celebration of his Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
