Joan L. (Henry) Plumb who lived at 30 different addresses during her 92 years, passed away to her heavenly home on December 17.

Joan was the oldest of five children born to Ferne B. and Clarence A. Henry of Sinking Spring, PA.  She is survived by her sister Sara Jane Cranston and her husband, David of Sewickley, PA, a sister-in-law, Katherine S. Henry of Windsor, VA and a sister-in-law, Inge Henry of Mesquite, NV.  Her sister Anne Andrews and brothers Thomas and John preceded her in death.

Joan was the mother of six children, a grandmother to 14 and agreat-grandmother to 18. She was predeceased by her eldest son, Jeffrey Plumb. She made her home with her daughter, Jennifer Vine, in Uxbridge.  She is also survived by a son Peter Plumb and his wife Melanie of Whitinsville, MA, a son Stephen Plumb and his wife Lynn of Nobleboro, ME, a daughter Sara Jane Morris of Hull, GA and a daughter, Paige Plumb of Warwick, RI.

Joan enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles and keeping in touch with friends and relatives by phone and with cards and letters.

 In celebration of Joan’s life, a memorial service will be held at Second Congregational Church, 289 Main Street, Douglas, MA at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 12 2022.
