Douglas- Jean S. (Barker) Hall, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Tues. July 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. 

  She is survived by 3 children, CaSaundra E. Gallagher and her husband David P., Lindsey J. Hall and her partner Adriana M., and Sarah B. Medugno and her husband William A.; a granddaughter, Maia Gallagher; 6 siblings, Joanne Browning, Roy Barker Jr., Charles Barker, James Barker, Lynn Mattson, and Paul Barker and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Barker.  

  Born in Worcester on Sept. 9, 1960 she was daughter of the late Roy Sr. and Helen (Benneyan) Figuiera and grew up in Hudson.  Jean loved children and ran an at home daycare for many years. She also drove a van for Alternatives, which she loved. She raised her two oldest children in Oxford before moving to Douglas, where she has lived the past 23 years.

  Jean enjoyed bowling, playing skeeball, her ABC soaps, and most of all, spending time with her family. Family was everything to her and her favorite times were when they got together for holidays and cookouts. She was affectionately called “Auntie” by everyone and had a loving nature. She is also survived by her beloved cat Johnny, with whom she shared a special bond. She will be forever loved and missed by her family. 

  Her memorial funeral service will be held on Sun. July 25th at 12 noon in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10 AM- 12 noon. The family please asks that everyone in attendance wear masks for those in the family who are not able to be vaccinated.
