Whitinsville- James S. “Jim” Rebidue, 90, passed away on Monday April 20, 2026 after a period of declining health.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Nancy J. (Devitt) Rebidue; his three sons Keith Rebidue of N. Grafton, Randy Rebidue and his wife Michelle of Brookfield, and Mark Rebidue and his wife Christa of Millbury; five grandchildren Kevin, Renee, Lucas, Rylie, and Dylann; 4 great-grandchildren Logan, Noah, Grace, and Claire; his sister Carol Hoyle of the Green Bay, Wisconsin area; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Scott Rebidue in 2006 and his brother Richard Rebidue and his wife Carol.
Born in Worcester, MA on November 21, 1935, Jim was the son of Cyril A. and Laura A. (Berthiaume) Rebidue, and was raised in the Grafton Hill section of Worcester. He was a graduate of Commerce High School, Class of 1954, and furthered his education attending Nichols College in Dudley and the University of Maryland. He worked as an administrator for St. Vincent’s Hospital for many years until his retirement in 1997, then worked part-time for Enterprise in Worcester as a driver from 2006- 2020. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant during the Korean Conflict from 1954- 1958.
Over the years, Jim and his wife Nancy enjoyed travelling, visiting all of the United States as well as Europe and Canada. He was a golf enthusiast, and played at many public area courses, attempting to shoot par.
Following cremation, Jim’s graveside funeral service will be held on Monday May 4, 2026 at 10:15 a.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. in Bourne. At the request of Jim's family, please omit flowers.
