James Honeyman Obituary

Whitinsville- James P. Honeyman, 48, of Marion Dr. passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sat. Sept. 12, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Erika A. (Henry) Honeyman; 3 children, Trevor Honeyman of England, Ashton Marchand and her husband Chris of Uxbridge and Shane Henry of Whitinsville; 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Corey Marchand; a brother, Andy Honeyman and his wife Abbey Greenfield of England, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother John Honeyman.
Born in Barking, England on May 20, 1972 he was the son of James and Florence (Seegar) Honeyman and lived most of his life in London England. After meeting and falling in love with Erika he moved to America in 2000. Jim worked as an IT Specialist for St. Mary’s Credit Union in Marborough the past 6 years and previously for Middlesex Savings Bank in Westborough. Jim loved his job and co-workers and was greatly liked. He was a practical joker who loved a good time, a good drink, traveling, and Disney. He was an avid soccer and especially Liverpool fan, who enjoyed playing board games and video games even though he always accused of the computer of cheating when he lost. He lived his life to the fullest and remained with a positive attitude even throughout his illness. He will be remembered as a stubborn Brit and will be greatly missed by all.
Jim’s memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 23 from 6-8 PM at Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a prayer service at 8 PM.
