Jake Wilga Obituary
Northbridge- Jake R. Wilga, 21, passed away unexpectedly on Mon. April 12, 2021 at home with loved ones close after being stricken ill. He was a former resident of Millbury.
He is survived by his girlfriend Erika Arhens who is expecting his first-born son any day now, also her son whom he affectionately loved as his own, Karter. His loving mother, Mary Pare of Northbridge; his father Richard Wilga of Oxford; 3 brothers, Joseph Pare of Northbridge, Sean Greene of Wales, and Jeremy Greene of Dennisport; his best friend and cousin, Dylan Lavallee; his maternal grandmother, Sharon Pare of Northbridge; paternal grandmother Theresa Lavallee and her husband Dennis of CT; as well as many aunts, uncle, cousins and good friends.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on Dec. 23, 1999 Jake grew up in the Northbridge/ Millbury area and attended Millbury High School. He had been working with his uncle Jimmy as a laborer working mostly in construction and landscaping. Jake loved motorcycles and riding motorcycles and recently purchased himself a Suzuki street bike. He was a happy fun-loving guy and enjoyed music and getting tattoos. He enjoyed dining out and especially with his girlfriend, and was really excited to prove himself as an amazing father. Although he will not get that chance, he would want his son to know that he was loved beyond words.
Jake’s calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 18th from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville from 2-5 pm.
