Herbert T. Lefevre

Whitinsville- Herbert T. Lefevre, 96 passed away on Monday May 16, 2022 after a period of declining health at Mont Marie Rehabilitation Center, Holyoke, MA.  He was predeceased by his wife Rita B. (Desrosiers) Lefevre in 2017.

He is survived by his son Paul Lefevre and his wife Donna of Wellington, FL; his daughter Joyce Boucher and her husband Kenneth of Southampton, MA; 6 grandchildren, Eric Boucher, his wife Debra, Gregory Boucher his wife Jennifer, Jeffrey Boucher and his wife Erin, Jennifer Lefevre and her husband George, Michelle Joyce and her husband Corey, and Christopher and his wife Alison; and 7 great grandchildren; Allison, Adam, Bradyn, Emily, Henning, Molly, and Liam. He was also predeceased by his daughter Janet Lefevre and his son, David Lefevre; his brothers Joseph Lefevre, Thomas Lefevre, and William Lefevre; and his sister Irene Silvia.

Born in Fall River on March 18, 1926 he was the son of Veronica (Buckley) and father Joseph Lefevre, along with his stepmother Mayflora St.Pierre. After serving in the U.S. Navy’s Naval Armed Guard for four years he worked at Stacy Lynn Drapery as a supervisor in Northbridge, MA.  He went on to become Head of Security at the Ford Natick Parts Depot where he worked until his retirement in 1981. After his retirement, he continued to work part-time in the janitorial department at Northbridge High School for many years.

As to his wishes, Herbert will be cremated and his services will be privately held at the convenience of his family.
