Douglas – Harold E. Briggs, Jr., 73, passed away on Sun. Jan. 1, 2017 at Harrington Hosp. after an illness.
     He is survived by his partner of 35 years, Ernest Bergeron; a sister; nieces, nephews, and many friends.  Born in Sutton, MA on Aug. 13, 1943 he was the son of Harold and Rena Briggs and worked as an upholsterer and assembler for Ethan Allen until his retirement.
     A very spiritual man, Harold watched the Hour of Power with Robert & Bobby Schuller each Saturday night.  He was a quiet person enjoying a good game of cribbage and going to the movies.  He loved watching the game shows Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune.  He will be deeply missed.
