Douglas- Ginger (Allegrini) Labonne, 54, of Perry St., passed away suddenly at home on Friday, August 18, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of 7 years, Dan “Rock” Labonne; her daughter Casey L. (Kampegaard) Russavage and her husband Kurt of Douglas; her mother, Constance Peloquin of Greenville, RI; her father John Allegrini of Lincoln, RI; a brother, Thomas Weyman and his wife Lara Pietropaolo of Providence, RI; a sister, Melissa Allegrini of Salem, MA; her in-laws Henry and Alice Labonne of Douglas; a nephew, Zachary O’Brien, several good friends, and her beloved dogs Bruno and Bear.
Born in Milford, MA on Nov. 23, 1968 she lived in Douglas most of her life. Ginger was a graduate of Douglas High School, Class of 1986. A member of the Beagle Club she enjoyed camping, the Douglas Res, and Old Orchard Beach. A nature lover she cherished sitting on her back porch with her dogs, watching the deer. One of her favorite things was her honeymoon to Alaska. It was a dream come true to see the glaciers, mountains, and wildlife in their native state.
Her memorial funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26th at 5 PM in Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St., Douglas. A calling hour will be held prior to her service from 4 to 5 PM.
