Gerard Branconnier Obituary
Gerard L. “Gerry” Branconnier, 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by close friends.
Born in Worcester on October 14, 1951, he was the son of Oliva and Blanche (Drouin) Branconnier and was raised in Spencer.
He leaves behind many dear friends and several relatives, including his godson, Marc Branconnier. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
Gerry took great pleasure in cooking and tending to his yard. He was a passionate collector of Disney memorabilia, Presidential and Papal keepsakes, as well as religious artifacts and statues.
Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerard’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
