Francis attended the day program at Alternatives/Open Sky in Whitinsville for many years. He was affectionately known as “Cowboy” there, because he usually wore a cowboy hat. He enjoyed dining out, going to dances, bowling, and the Boston Bruins. He especially loved children. Red could often be seen riding around his yard in his golf cart, sometimes wearing his Daniel Boone hat. He was well known and loved by his community and will be missed by all who knew him.
