Uxbridge- Elmer A. Mograss, 84, of S. Main St., passed away on Tues. October 5, 2021 at his home after being stricken ill.
He is survived by his children, Albert J. “Al” Mograss of Marston Mills, and Lucille A. “Lucy” Jordan of Quincy, Eric W. Mograss of Rutland, and Deborah Butler of Smyrna Tennessee, Sherri Lee Mograss Mogardo and Claudette Mograss of Lakeland Florida; a sister, Jeanette Trotta of Hopedale and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was predeceased by 5 siblings, Lucille DuQuesney, Frances Odems, Shirley Coates and Edward Mograss, and Norman Mograss. Born in Milford on October 8, 1936 he was the son of Walter and Lucille (Courtemance) Mograss and was raised in the Milford area. He was a graduate of Milford high school and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Living many years in Uxbridge, Elmer was a skilled Carpenter, a member of the American Legion Riders Post 59 and the Carpenters Union. He was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed trips to Vegas.
