North Grafton- Edna D. “Kelly” Hancock, 54, of Westboro Rd. passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2024.
She is survived by her home mates and personnel; prior shared living providers; the friends and staff at Open Sky; and her caregiver she lived with for many years Cecelia and her family.
Born in Groton, MA on July 28, 1969 she was the daughter of Paul S. and Diane (Kinosian) Hancock and lived in N. Grafton at the Open Sky group home.
Kelly attended Open Sky’s Adult Learning Center Day Program. She loved laughing, singing, music in general, and especially hearing music her shared living providers played. Kelly would often join them with a tambourine or keyboard. She enjoyed going outside, sitting in the shade and relaxing on the swing in the yard. Being close to water resonated with Kelly, whether in a park or at the shore. Hearing the sounds of flowing water put her at peace. She was also fond of attending church. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman.
Special thanks to friends and staff at Open Sky for providing Kelly with a meaningful, rich and full life.
Her funeral Service will be held Wednesday July 10 at 11 am in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St. Whitinsville. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 am, prior to her service.
