Earl Britt Jr. Obituary
Northbridge- Earl F. Britt Jr., 76, passed away on Tues. May 22, 2018 after having suffered from bone cancer for 17 years. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda J. (Gardner) Britt.
He is also survived by a daughter, Vicky Benoit and her husband Dave of Worcester; 4 step-daughters, Lisa Farrand of St. Petersburg, FL., Donna Verrier and her husband Larry of Whitinsville, Pamela Laferriere of Providence, RI, and Denise Skowronski and her husband Rob of Douglas; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a brother Donald Britt of Athol; and a sister Sharon Britt also of Athol; and several neices and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Norman Britt.
Born in Athol, MA on July 30, 1941 he was the son of Earl F. Sr. and Myrtle E. (Foster) Britt and lived in Athol fir many years. Earl served in the U.S Army and the National Guard for more than 10 years, moving to the Northbridge area in 1982.
Earl worked as a Chrome Plater for Everett Plating in Leominster, MA for several years. He was a huge Elvis Presley fan and loved to show off his collection to whoever would sit and listen. Earl loved to travel to Graceland and Memphis when he was well. He was a devoted husband and loved his wife dearly and will be sorely missed by his family.
As to his wishes, Earl will be cremated and his graveside service will take place on Fri, June 1 at 11 am in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. To leave a condolence message for his family please visit: www.JackmanFuneralHomes.com
