Douglas- Donna M. (Forget) Muldoon, 74, of Roslyn Rd.passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 surrounded by family. Her husband of 12 years Kenneth Muldoon predeceased her in 1999.
She is survived by her sister Cheryl I. Becker of Douglas; many beloved nieces and nephews; her in-laws, Jean Forget, Paula Forget, and Donald Gregory; and many great friends and neighbors She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard E. Forget Jr., Raymond E. Forget, and Susan L. Gregory.
Born in Brookline on April 29, 1950, she was daughter of the late Richard E. Forget Sr., and Marie M. Baia and grew up in Brighton. She was educated from St. Gabriel’s Grammar School and Presentation High School both in Brighton. Donna worked as a mail handler for the United States Postal Service for 36 years in downtown Boston and then in Worcester. She had been a resident of Douglas the past 20 years.
Donna enjoyed taking trips to the Casino in Las Vegas and Atlantic City where she played Texas Hold’em, Poker, and other high-stakes card games. She was fond of Wallum Lake, nature, butterflies and birdwatching. Cardinals and hummingbirds were her favorites. She loved to shop, and always dressed nice. Always generous, she gave to many great causes including St. Jude Children’s Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project, and The Shriners Hospital for Children. She will be sorely missed by her family with whom she was close.
