Donna Hagen Obituary

Douglas – Donna J. (Brunelle) Hagen, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Milford Regional Hospital after an illness. She is survived by her loving husband Roy J. Hagen Jr., with whom she spent 46 “blissful” married years.

She is also survived by 3 children Garry Dubois and his wife Rebecca of Williamsburg VA, Mark Dubois and his wife Heather of Shrewsbury, Tara Brennan and her husband William of Douglas; 3 stepchildren, Roy Hagen III of Worcester, Beth King and her husband Ralph of Spencer, and Carla Hagen and her significant other Kevin of Worcester. She was the grandmother of Jacob and his wife Madison, Hayden, Phoebe, Lauren, Sean, Sophia, Kyle, Zachary, Cody and Kara. Sister of Sandra Aboody of Worcester, Stephen Brunelle and his wife Maryellen of East Brookfield, Deborah Oliver and her husband Steven of North Brookfield and Linda Brunelle who predeceased her. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved Schnauzer Benjamin.

Born in Worcester on August 8, 1946 Donna was daughter of the late Francis and Elsie (Blanchard) Brunelle and was raised in East Brookfield. Primarily a homemaker, Donna was a woman of many talents and worked numerous places over the years. She was a great cook and also enjoyed cake decorating, crocheting, and craft projects. Donna also liked entertaining, dancing, taking trips to the casino, dining out, playing Keno, and bird watching. Her favorite times were spent with her family and her adored grandchildren. A fun-loving woman, Donna had a great sense of humor and always made those around her break into laughter. She was an amazing, wife, mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her.
