Diane T. Guinta

Diane T. Giunta, 78, formerly of Dedham, MA and Lincoln, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 after a long illness.

     She is survived by two sisters, Nasawania T. Ranatou of Holbrook and Lucille Giunta of Raynham; a brother, Philip Giunta of Amesbury; her longtime friend, Susan Daum of NY, and several nieces and nephews. Born in Tewksbury, MA on January 14, 1947 she was daughter of the late Samuel and Sylvia (Consalvi) Giunta and was a resident of Mount Saint Rita Nursing Home in Cumberland, RI the past 13 years. 

     Miss Giunta worked as an Attorney specializing in Elder Care. She was employed by Attorney Patty Mello and was a guardian for many of her clients. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Roxbury, Emmanuel College, and New England School of Law both in Boston. She also studied to become a Nun in her younger years. As an animal lover, Diane loved and cherished her two Corgi friends Owen and Maisey, and was an avid reader.

     Her Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 7th at 12 noon in Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave. Boston. There are no calling hours.
