Douglas - Denis J. Bouthiller, 64, passed away on Wed. Aug. 11, 2021 at Milford Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 19 years, Lisa M. (Nichols) Bouthiller.
Denis is also survived by his mother, Lucille (Joncas) Bouthiller of Grafton; 3 nieces whom he loved and raised as daughters, Leah Nichols of Oxford, Lexiana Nichols of Douglas, and Jaeliana Nichols of Webster; 3 siblings, Diana Jimenez and her husband Martin of Worcester, Philip Bouthiller and his partner Robin of Worcester, and Ronald Bouthiller also of Worcester, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Denis was born in Worcester on November 7, 1956 and was the son of the late Raymond Bouthiller. He grew up in the Grafton Hill section of Worcester and was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade. For 30 years, Denis owned and operated Bouthiller Welding Equipment in Douglas. He was a lifelong member of the Blackstone Valley Beagle Club and former president for many years. He and his wife enjoyed camping at their camp in CT. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a fun spirited guy with a heart as big as he was and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral will be held on Tues. Aug. 17th with a funeral mass at 11 AM in St. Patrick’s Church., 1 Cross St.,Whitinsville. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family graciously requests that those in attendance please wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
