Uxbridge- Debra A. Gniadek, 64, of Oak St., passed away peacefully with grace on Sun., Nov. 27, 2022 surrounded by her amazing family and friends after a long illness. She is survived by her wonderful and loving husband, David P. Gniadek after 38 years of marriage. Her beautiful mom Beverly W. Rykosky of Uxbridge; her brother, Richard L. Rykosky and his wife Orlene of Metairie LA, many cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Deb was born in Milford, MA and lived in Uxbridge her entire life. She was the daughter the late Richard F. Rykosky and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School where she was a standout athlete playing field hockey, basketball, and softball. She was selected Spartonette Athlete of the year in her senior year and also was voted assistant vice president of her senior class.
Deb worked most of her life at Unibank for Savings, formerly Whitinsville Savings Bank, where she held many positions and made many lifelong friends.
Deb was a lover of all sports including golf, she also enjoyed gardening, and taking trips to Maine, Narragansett, and Provincetown. She was a beach girl, and loved taking pictures especially of nature. Deb and her family would like to thank the entire team at Dana Farber Cancer Center of Milford. They were her family and she loved them all.
Her funeral mass will be held on Fri. Dec. 2nd at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Church, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours in Tancrell- Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge will be held on Thurs. Dec. 1st from 3-6 PM. Donations in Deb’s memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
