Douglas- Deborah A. (Karol) Toloczko, 68, of Glenn St., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 after being stricken ill at home.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Anthony J. “Tony” Toloczko Sr. They were childhood sweethearts. She also leaves her 3 children, Anthony J. Toloczko Jr. of Whitinsville, Jennifer L. Moore and her husband Michael of Worcester, and Jonathan Toloczko and his wife Kristin of Northbridge; 3 grandchildren, Nolan and Hailey Moore, and Aubrey Toloczko; 2 siblings, Diane Rutkauskaus of Millbury and Richard “Dickie” Karol of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, MA on October 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Shirley (Fiore) Karol and was raised in the Vernon Hill Section in Worcester. She was a graduate of Burncoat High School and was a resident of Douglas since 1978.
Deb worked as a school bus driver for the Douglas Public School system for 27 years until her retirement. In her younger years she worked at the Fair Department Store in Worcester and Photomat in Auburn.
A lover of all animals, she especially cherished her pug dogs. She liked reading, travelling, dining out, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed the beach and spending time in Ft. Pierce, Laconia, and Las Vegas. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed for her caring nature.
