Whitinsville- Deborah A. Hutchinson, 62, of Mendon passed away on Thursday, August 29th at Milford Hospital after a period of declining health. Her loving family was at her side.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend Samantha Taylor; her mother, Shirley (Hazard) Hutchinson of Whitinsville; 2 sisters, Brenda Kelliher and her husband Dana Kelliher of Sutton, and Linda Mello and her husband Franny Mello of Whitinsville; a special uncle, Brian Hutchinson with whom she lived, as well as several nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and many great friends, including her longtime best friend and co-conspirator Linda White and best friend of many years Nancy Dognazzi. She was predeceased by her father Arthur Hutchinson in 2014 and brother David Hutchinson in 2017.
Born in Milford on October 6, 1961 she was the daughter of the late Arthur Hutchinson and grew up in Northbridge. She was educated in the Northbridge public school system. She worked as a bartender and server for Hannah’s Place for over 30 years and then worked as a bartender and server for the former Timeout Tavern in Whitinsville for several years. More recently she worked as a home health aide for several years and also worked at Hannaford’s Supermarket in the deli department and Stop and Shop in the seafood and meat department for several years.
Deb enjoyed visiting the beach, Onset beach being her favorite. She was a dog lover, and was predeceased by her “golden girl” Brandy a few years back, whom she loved like a second child. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Dana Farber in Milford; her doctor Dr. Humberto Rossi, all her nurses and friends upstairs in the infusion center as well as all of her friends and nurses downstairs in the radiology department.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 6 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall #365, 77 Prescott Rd., Whitinsville.
