David L Halterman

Uxbridge- David L. Halterman, 72, passed away on Mon. June 28, 2021 at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge, after a period of declining health.

He was predeceased by his wife, Maryann (Blais) Halterman in 2017. He is survived by 3 children, Ronald Halterman of Boston, David Halterman of Uxbridge and Helena Halterman also of Boston; 2 brothers, Ronald Halterman and his wife Linda of Uxbridge and Glenn Halterman of Worcester; 2 stepchildren, Jim Blais and Sarah Blais; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Born in Framingham on Feb. 21, 1949 he was son of the late Gerald and Rosalie (Sharpe) Halterman, and grew up in Framingham, graduating from Framingham High School. David, along with his brother Ron opened and operated Carpet Lover Inc., in Uxbridge since 1987, and in the mid 90’s David opened Carpet Lover Etc. in Westborough. He was very motivated and loved his work. He enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

David’s memorial funeral service will be held on Thurs. July 8th at 6 PM in Tancrell- Jackman Funeral home, 35 Snowling Rd, Uxbridge. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4-6 PM.
