Constance Anne (Bentley) Driscoll, 84, of Whitinsville died on Sun. March 17, 2013. Born in Uxbridge on Jan. 17, 1929 she was the daughter of John and Mary (Murphy) Bentley and lived in Uxbridge before moving to Whitinsville 52 years ago. She resided for the past 3 years at Evans Park at Newton Corner Senior Living. Devoted wife of John Riley Driscoll of Whitinsville and Newton. Loving mother of Monica Driscoll Stuart and her husband Douglas Stuart, and Sean Riley Driscoll and his partner Greg Fredo, all of Belmont, and the late Maura Driscoll Holway and Kerin Driscoll Stanley. Beloved grandmother of Caitlin Driscoll Beatty and her husband Sameer Shah of Pawtucket, Meaghan Maura Beatty of Brighton, Shannon Grace Beatty of Providence, Bride Anne Stanley and John Alden Stanley, both of Whitinsville, and Skyler Stuart of San Diego. Loving great grandmother of Taria Bronte Shah of Pawtucket. Cherished sister of the late Hazel Trainor, Vivian Bentley, Muriel Morin, Rita Heffernan, Mary Bentley, Reginald Bentley, Harold Bentley, and John Bentley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Constance’s greatest love was for her family, as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She also loved to travel and enjoyed many beautiful trips within the United States, the British Isles, Europe, the Caribbean, and China. She spent many delightful summer vacations in Harwichport on Cape Cod. She was an active and valued member of Saint Patrick’s Parish in Whitinsville. Constance enjoyed a successful career in marketing, as a home-based distributor of Shaklee products, as a licensed real estate broker, and most recently as a marketing specialist at The Willows of Westborough, a full-spectrum retirement community.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville, on Fri. March 22, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. No calling hours are scheduled. Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge.
