Douglas- Conrad V. Dube, 77, passed away peacefully at his home on Sat. July 31, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Lynne (Brown) Dube in 2011.
He is survived by his daughter Nancy Bennett and her husband Jeremy of Upton; 2 grandchildren, Maxwell and Connor Bennett also of Upton; 2 siblings, Jean Dube and Melinda Dube both of Northbridge, and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Valmore Dube Jr. and his sister Jeannine Murray.
Mr. Dube was born in Northbridge on Dec. 11, 1943 and was son of the late Valmore Sr. and Bertha (Lussier) Dube. Conrad grew up and attended school in Northbridge before joining the U.S Army 1960’s. He proudly served 3 years and was stationed in Japan and Thailand. Conrad worked for Wyman Gordon in Grafton for 40+ years and retired in 2006. He was a longtime resident of Douglas.
Mr. Dube loved and collected antiques, enjoyed working in his garden, golfing, fishing, and just spending time outdoors. Most of all, he loved being with his family, they were his greatest treasure.
His funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 6th at 11 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 39 Church St., Northbridge. Calling hours will be held at Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville on Thursday, August 5th from 6-8 PM. The family requests that guests in attendance please wear masks and maintain social distancing guidelines.
