Claire R. ((Mathieu) Ballard) Marshall

Linwood- Claire R. (Mathieu) Ballard Marshall, 91, passed away peacefully on Sun. Oct. 3, 2021 at Advinia Care in Northbridge. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond W. Marshall in 2006.

         She is survived by her daughter, Pamela McElreath and her husband John of Linwood; 2 grandchildren, John McElreath Jr. and his wife Melissa, and Stacey McElreath all of Linwood; 2 great- grandchildren, Michael and Nina. She was predeceased by 2 siblings Brenda Grant, and Theodore Ballard Jr.

Born in Uxbridge on Sept. 24, 1930 she was the daughter of Lillian and Theodore Ballard and has been a lifelong resident of Uxbridge. Claire worked for Preswheel in Grafton many years as an assembler, and then for Beaumont Nursing home in the laundry Dept. for 20+ years. She was a former member of the Uxbridge VFW Woman’s Auxillary, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She was a quiet and lovely woman who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Claire’s funeral home service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 8th in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge. Calling hours will be held prior from 9-11AM.
