Thompson, CT- Christopher J. Rodgers, 52, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at home after being stricken ill.
He is survived by his daughter Mariah Jasmer of Florida; a brother, Michael J. Rodgers of Lafayette, CO; nieces Nicole, Elisha and Kelly Ann, and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Richard J. Rodgers Jr.
Born in Worcester on October 29, 1969 he was son of the late Richard Sr. and Joan Ann (VanNess) Rodgers and grew up in Whitinsville. He was a graduate of Northbridge Highschool and worked many years for several area dealerships as a car salesman. A proud veteran, Chris served 5 years in the war in Afghanistan as a chemical operations specialist and received numerous decorations and medals.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, boating, golfing, and snowboarding. He also played the drums, poker and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
