Uxbridge – Cheryl E. (Naylor) Grant, 67, passed away at home on Sun. Feb. 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her companion Wayne J. Bilodeau, 4 children, Richard Lemay and his wife Sophie of Lincoln, RI, Steven Lemay and his wife Marilyn of Bellingham, Brenda Riendeau and her husband Steven of Blackstone, and Rodney Rondeau, Jr. and his wife Sarah of Whitinsville; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson, a sister Linda J. Lehman and her husband William A. of Elizabeth City, NC; brother Paul M. Naylor, Jr. and his wife Darlene of Mobile, AL, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her son Donald Lemay, Jr. in 1975. Born in Birmingham, AL on Feb. 28, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Paul M. Naylor and Mary Elizabeth (Thompson) Naylor Nelson and grew up in Alabama moving to MA in 1967 to raise her family.
Cheryl was an amazing woman, mother, and friend. She had a contagious personality that everyone loved to be around. From dancing in the car to singing with the girls at work, she just enjoyed life. She loved to spend her time with her family. She liked keeping in touch with friends on Facebook and long phone conversations. She also enjoyed reading. Cheryl loved working at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester with all her friends as a PCA in the Labor & Delivery Unit, leaving due to illness.
Cheryl’s funeral service will be held on Fri., Feb. 10 at 11:30 a.m. in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Uxbridge. Calling hours will be held on Fri.
