Douglas- Cheryl Ann (Trottier) Crosby, 62, of West St., Douglas passed away on Wed. Dec. 21, 2022 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Steven F. Crosby.
She is also survived by 2 sons, Brandon O. Boisvert and his longtime partner Angela Havalotti of Sturbridge, and Kyle J. Derosier of The Bronx, NY; her mother, Frances M. (Roukema) Trottier of Whitinsville; 6 adored grandchildren, Brody, Hadley, Indie, Navy, Callah, and Dalton; 4 siblings, Michael Trottier and his wife Carolyn of N. Providence, Regina Boucher and her husband David of Uxbridge, Donna Desjardin and her husband Ronald of Uxbridge, and Jo-Ann Minior and her husband Michael of Whitinsville, an Aunt Kathy Roukema of FL, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends. She was predeceased by her father Richard E. Trottier and a sister Christine Hutchinson.
Born in Shreveport, LO on March 12, 1960 Cheryl grew up in Uxbridge and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School class of 1978. She worked many years as a customer service representative for several area companies including Lenza, Douglas and the Riverdale Mills, Northbridge. For several years she worked for the MacKinnon Training Center, Town of Southbridge, as a placement specialist.
Cheryl loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She also liked traveling, and getting together with her friends. She will be fondly remembered as a great woman with a heart of gold but who was always honest and outspoken.
Her memorial funeral home service will be held on Tues. Jan. 3, 2023 at 12 noon in Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville. Memorial calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10- noon.
