Whitinsville- Cheryl A. (Titus) Brodeur, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 after being stricken ill at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester.
She is survived by her brother, Alan W. Titus of Rumford, RI; her nephew Alan R. Titus of Port St. Lucy Fl, 3 great nephews, and 1 great niece; and one great-great nephew; and aunt, Dorothy “Debbie” Parker of Bristol, RI; and her best friends, Debbie Bernier of Blackstone, Paula Warner of Whitinsville, and Sue Bloomberg; and her four-legged companions Bailey and Magnolia, as well as many great friends. She was predeceased by her husband David L. Morrill in 2011, and her longtime companion, Frederick Ford who passed away on March 8, 2025.
Born in Providence, RI, on March 29, 1958, she was the daughter of Frank E. Titus and Mary (Saieta) Titus, who recently passed away in December 24, 2025. Cheryl was raised in Rumford, RI and was a graduate of East Providence High School class of 1976. She furthered her education, graduating from Providence College in 1979, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Theology. While attending college, she served in the ROTC Army Program. She was a worked many jobs over the years, and started her career working for Accumet Engineering in Hudson, the Raytheon Corporation and was employed in home health care. She also served as a secretary for the Uxbridge Planning Board, and later owned and operated the Belle, Book, and Candle Consignment Shop in Uxbridge.
A very social woman, she enjoyed going out and dressing up for social occasions, flea market and estate sale shopping. She loved dining out with family and friends and especially with her mother. A woman of great faith, Cheryl was a longtime member of St. Mary Parish, Uxbridge, and a former member of St. Margaret’s Church in Rumford, where she was very involved in her youth with their Catholic Youth Organizations.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 10 AM in St. Mary Parish, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Calling hours will be held form Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., on Tuesday, February 10th from 4-6 PM. Her burial will be private.
