N. Uxbridge- Celia “Bridget” (Farrar) Knapik, 72, of N. Main St., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 after an illness. Her husband Jeffrey Knapik died in 2006.
She is survived by her 2 children Chad Knapik, with whom she lived, and Lisa Chausse of N. Uxbridge; 4 grandchildren, Kevin, Mallory, Daniel and Zack; 3 great-grandchildren Tristan, Killian, and Landon, also several nieces and nephews.
Born in Whitinsville on June 9, 1950 she was the daughter of Francis and Alice (Pouliot) Demers and lived over 20 years in Uxbridge. Previously she lived in Whitinsville and Douglas. Bridget worked as a special needs driver for Kiesling Transportation. Previously she worked at Guilfords of Maine in Douglas and the laundromats in Linwood and N. Uxbridge. She was raised in Douglas on a farm, where she had many fond memories. Educated in the Douglas public school systems she enjoyed puzzles and crocheting. She made beautiful afghan blankets, which she often donated to charity or gave away to friends and family. Family oriented, she loved being at home surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
According to her wishes, there are no services.
