Sutton- Carolynn M. Dumas, 79, of Cote Ln., in the Manchaug section of Sutton, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, after a period of declining health.
She is survived by her son Shawn Towle and his companion Ivy of Sutton, her daughter Kelly-Ann Graika and her significant other Michael of Panacea, FL; 2 grandchildren Kristin Robillard, and Garrett Magness both of Southbridge; a great-granddaughter Kendrix; her beloved shihTzu, Jasmine, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers Peter Dumas and Richard Dumas.
Born in Worcester on March 31, 1946, she was the daughter of Theodore and Beatrice (Jurinsky) Dumas. She was raised in Worcester, and spent summers growing up at her parent’s camp on Tucker Lake in Manchaug. She was educated at St. Peter’s Catholic High School in Worcester.
Carolynn was dedicated to her Native American Heritage, a member of the Mohawk Tribe, Turtle Clan. Her tribal name was Autumn Wind Song. She loved nature and being outdoors, and was an avid animal lover, especially of horses.
