Whitinsville-Carol A. (Malboeuf) Dicicco, 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sun. Feb. 7. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph A. Dicicco; 3 children, Carla J. Anderson and her husband Dennis of Grafton, Cheryl D. Prout and her husband Phillip of Grafton, and Rodna M. Dicicco of Douglas; her step father Mitchell Minor; 8 grandchildren who were the light of her life; her sister Jean Illohan and many nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved cats Percy, Max, Caesar, and Missy. Born in Northbridge on Feb. 7, 1941 she was the daughter of George Malboeuf and the late Doris (Mercier) Malboeuf Minor.
Carol was a graduate of Northbridge High School and graduated from Salter’s Secretarial School in 1959. Having a love for ceramics she taught for 30 years. She also worked at Ocean State Mold Co., over 10 years, Ceramic City for 15 years, and finally in the cosmetic dept. at Walmart the past 20 years. She will be sorely missed by all her knew her.
Her funeral will be held on Sat. Feb. 13 from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery. A calling hour at the funeral home will be held on Sat. Feb. 13 from 9:30 – 10:30. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be made to Cancer Care @ Milford Regional Medical Center, 14 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757.
