Uxbridge- Brian M. Comlin, 78, of Veterans Parkway passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Milford Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Stoughton on September 9, 1943 he was son of the late Chester and Anna (Daugherty) Comlin, and lived in Brockton and Taunton, before settling in Uxbridge in 1989. He survived by his extended family on the Parkway, along with several close friends.
Brian worked for Alternative’s in Whitinsville for many years and even received an award in 2003 for outstanding achievement. Brian was an active parishioner at St. Mary’s Church, and volunteered at the Uxbridge Senior Center monthly. He was a frequent patron of the Whitinsville Community Center. He lived an active life enjoying swimming, vacationing on the Cape, and a variety of other activities including touring the White House. In his later years, he remained at home due to his declining health. Brian was a good natured-man that enjoyed the company of his close friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge on Wednesday, November 17th at 11 AM. A calling hour will be held prior from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge. Memorial donations will be made in his name to Saint Mary’s Parish, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge MA 01569.
