Bonnie M. (Gould) Coro

Uxbridge- Bonnie M. (Gould) Coro, 81, of Douglas St. passed away Tues. July 25, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Hospital after an illness. Her husband of 48 years Leo S. Coro died Oct. 1, 2011.

     She is survived by a son Charles A. Coro of Lilburn, GA; a daughter Mechelle J. Fox and her wife Ruby of Norfolk, VA; 6 grandchildren Annastasia, Kaytlyn, Jonathan, Xander, Leo, and Bethany; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother Benson R. Gould of Woodstock, CT; a sister Sandra A. Zimler of Gainsville, GA; her companion Warren Austin of Billerica; and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Sylvia Silva, Sharon J. Seid, Brian V. Gould, and her twin Beth Macomber. Born in Milford, MA on July 25, 1942 she was the daughter of Alfred W. and Lillian O. (Shumway) Gould and resided with her twin and her niece Donna Macomber-Cassidy in Uxbridge the past 12 years. Raised in Whitinsville, she lived throughout the country, travelling for her husband’s job with the National Weather Service.

     Mrs. Coro was employed 32 years for the Pepsi Cola Company, in Richmond, and Petersburg VA. She worked her way up the ladder there, performing many duties, finally retiring as an Administrator in 2006.

     Bonnie was a graduate of Northbridge High School, Class of 1960 and then from Mt. Ida College, earning a degree in secretarial studies. She enjoyed antiquing with her twin sister Beth and operated a booth in the Bernat Mill in Uxbridge. She enjoyed yard sales, playing video games and her family, especially the grandchildren.

     Her memorial funeral service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Linwood Ave. in Whitinsville will be held on Sat. Aug. 5 at 12 noon. Memorial donations in Bonnie’s memory may be made to the Uxbridge Senior Center, 36 S. Main St. Uxbridge, MA 01569.
