Blanche A. (Ozog) Sprague

Upton- Blanche A. (Ozog) Sprague, 93, of Millhouse Apartments, formerly of Whitinsville, passed away on Wed. Aug. 3, 2022 at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehab after a period of declining health. 

         She is survived by her son Steven Sprague and his companion Robin Lessard of Uxbridge; 2 grandchildren Justin Sprague and Heather Sprague both of Worcester; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son as well as 5 sisters, Catherine Johnson, Jeannette Godzik, Wanda Rej, Julie Bandilla, and Mary Kostka.

         Born in Northbridge, MA on May 23, 1929 she was the daughter of Steven and Barbara (Stefanik) Ozog and lived in Whitinsville over 60 years. She was a resident of Millhouse Apartments in Upton the past 32 years. She loved living there, making many friends, and participating in numerous activities. 

      Blanche worked in housekeeping for many years for the former Whitinsville Hospital before her retirement. She also worked at the Upton Senior Center and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was educated in the Northbridge public school system and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and playing bingo. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church.

     Her Memorial Funeral Mass will be on Fri., Aug. 12th at 10AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1 Cross St. Whitinsville. Cremation burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. To leave a condolence message for her family please visit: www.jackmanfuneralhomes.com
