Northbridge- Beverly Ann (Hewett) Alicea, 81, of Quaker St. passed away on Wednesday March 20th at UMass University Hospital in Worcester after a period of declining health.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Pablo Alicea; 3 children, Jayne Alicea of Whitinsville, Paul Alicea and his wife Michele of Narragansett, RI, and Angelica Alicea Storey of Whitinsville; 3 grandchildren, Katelynn, Missy, and Hailey; 3 brothers, Richard Hewett of Uxbridge, William Carter and his husband Brian of Douglas, Michael Carter and his wife Melissa of Douglas, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond S. “Joe” Hewett Jr., and her son-in-law, David Storey.
Born in Uxbridge, MA on July 20, 1942, she was the daughter of Raymond S. Sr. and Amelia (Bourassa) Hewett and grew up in Uxbridge. She was a graduate of Uxbridge high school class of 1962 and had been a resident of Northbridge 55 years. Beverly worked as a Supervisor for Kidde Fenwal Co. in Ashland until her retirement in 1989.
Beverly enjoyed painting, cooking, and watching old movies especially westerns. Above all, she cherished her family and time spent with them.
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 27 at 11 am in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. Uxbridge. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home in Uxbridge will be held Tuesday, March 26 from 5-7 pm.
