Uxbridge- Arnold J. Patella, 97, of E.Hartford Ave. passed away peacefully on Wed. Nov 24, 2021 at home.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years Lea M. (Gervais) Patella; Barry Patella in Illinois, John of Whitinsville, Bonnie Kocur of Uxbridge, Cheryl Patella of Uxbridge, Anthony Patella in New York, and Brian Patella of Blackstone and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Born in Webster, MA on Nov. 5, 1924 he was the son of Italian immigrants Giovanni “John” and Sylvia (Barbato) Patella and lived in Uxbridge since 1952. He was raised and educated in Millbury.

Mr. Patella worked at the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville many years. He was a US Army WWII veteran. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest pleasure was spending time with his family. He was a hard-working man who found enjoyment and relaxation gardening.
