Dracut — Andrew M. Pastore, 32, formerly of Douglas, passed away after a brief illness on November 5, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Hannah E. Benedict. He also leaves his parents, Michael and Ramona (Koehler) Pastore of Whitinsville; his paternal grandmother, Elaine Pastore of Cumberland, RI; his sister, Sophia Pastore, her husband Joseph Mirkin and their two sons Felix and Theo, of Greenfield; his brother, Michael Pastore of Chicago, IL; his parents-in-law, Michael and Gail Benedict of Uxbridge; his brother-in-law, Matthew Benedict, and his fiancee Mackenzie Lavoie of Vernon, CT;his Grandparents- in law, Lewis and Betty Benedict of Nashua, NH; his beloved dogs, Velvet, Gus, Lolly, and Penne; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.
Born in Providence, RI, on August 23, 1993, Andrew was a 2012 graduate of Douglas High School, where he received the Computer Science Award. He went on to attend Wentworth Institute of Technology, earning his degree in Computer Science. Driven and passionate about his work, Andrew was employed for the past eight years as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA, where he contributed to the Orion Space Program in flight software development.
Andrew was an avid animal lover with a special affection for dogs. He enjoyed video and board games, reading—especially science fiction—and solving puzzles of all kinds. He also enjoyed fencing in his youth. He loved to travel and spent two months exploring the country with Hannah. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Andrew was kind, thoughtful, and always eager to help others. Meticulous in everything he did, he approached life with confidence, fearlessness, and a spirit of adventure. Above all, he deeply loved his wife and family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
