Uxbridge-Andrew M. Hopper, 32, of Capron St. passed away on Thurs. Aug. 19, 2021 suddenly after an accident.

He is survived by his parents, D. Michael and Isabel (Killeen) Hopper; his brother, Brendan Hopper of Uxbridge; aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. Born in Natick, MA on Nov. 21, 1988 he lived in Uxbridge all his life.

     Andrew worked as a Locksmith over the years and manufactured ventilators during COVID. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Class of 2007. He had attended Quinsigamond Community College and North Bennet Street School in Boston. An avid reader, he loved historical fiction and authors Ken Follett, Lee Childs and Stephen King. He was also into journaling, and kept a log most of his adult life. Andrew enjoyed walking and could be seen frequently walking the loop and the tow path.

     His Funeral Mass will be held Wed. Aug. 25with a Mass at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church, 71 Mendon St., Uxbridge. Cremation burial will be privately held later in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours at Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. are Tues. Aug. 24th from 4 to 7 pm and Wed. prior to mass from 9-10:30. To leave a condolence message for his family please visit:
