Northbridge- Alfred E. “Gene” Comtois, 97, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2022 at Dodge Park Rest Home in Worcester where he was a resident the past year.
He is survived by his son Robert Comtois of Uxbridge. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Diane (Suave) Comtois who passed away in 1993, and 2 brothers, Norman Comtois and Richard Comtois.
Born in Moosop, Connecticut on March 29, 1924 he was the son of Henry and Aura (Frechette) Comtois and was raised in South Grafton. Alfred worked many years in the stock room for Dennison Manufacturing Co. in Framingham until his retirement. A simple man, Gene enjoyed good music and dining out. He was a resident of Rockdale for 70 years.
Gene's graveside servicel with full military honors, will take place on Friday, May 27th at 11 AM in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Whitinsville.
