Albert Gautreau Obituary

Northbridge— Albert E. Gautreau, 75, formerly of Upton St., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in Palm Coast, FL.

He is survived by his son, Jason A. Gautreau and his wife, Mindy, of Salt Lake City, UT; two daughters, Deven M. Petro and her husband Sean of Palm Coast, FL, and June Courville of Sutton; eight grandchildren: Bostynn, Lukas, Nyxon, Bill, Steven, Awtumn, Aliyssa, and Summer; his sister, Linda A. Sliwoski of Spencer; two brothers, Ronald J. Gautreau and David N. Gautreau, both of Northbridge; and his niece, Kara Sliwoski, and her husband, Brian.

Born in Northbridge on Oct. 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Rita H. (Lussier) Gautreau. He lived in Northbridge for most of his life before recently moving to Palm Coast, FL.

Mr. Gautreau was dedicated and a hard worker. Following high school, he attended trade school before joining Wyman-Gordon as a machinist. He worked there for 40 years until his retirement in 2012. He was also a long-time member of St. Peter’s Parish.

In his younger years, Albert was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lover of music, classic movies, and cherished relaxing days spent with his family at the Whitin Reservoir in Douglas. A kind, loving, and caring man with a dry sense of humor, he was a man of faith who prayed daily and loved his family deeply. Though he was taken too soon, he will live in our hearts forever.
