John will always be remembered for his hardy laugh..........and his love of life. He and his family brought many hours of happiness and joy to my family through visits, Christmas and New Year parties, canoeing near the farm in Sherborn and much more. I remember making a trip to northern Maine with him to haul oats back to Massachusetts, what a trip exposing me to a new world of potato farmers and their farm styles. And then there was the trip to Fryeburg Fair to show cattle........Al Cowan was the judge, what a fun memory. And the beef roasts via the in ground pits, wow what delicious meat, and amazing process, John was the master chef. And then the carriage business, doing what he had a passion for, working with horses, and meeting/greeting people. John had a huge heart, big smile and a never ending love for his family. He will be missed in many ways........RIP my friend.
