Grandpa Jo led a long life of 90 years.  I remember how proud he was of his garden every year and how he was always tinkering with woodworking or engines.  I remember his fondness of the dogs  he had through the years.  He got to enjoy many years of retirement.  He is now at peace.  But he will be missed by those of us left behind.

Uncle Joe, You will be missed by many, but most of all you'll be miss by Paul an I. Our Tuesday mornings will never be the same, the four of us spending hours playing Fill or bust. Which you really enjoyed when you knocked me back and won the game.
You would always help Paul with his tractor issues. And we enjoyed the family cook outs you had.
We would always talk politics, both of us are Trump supporters, and you were so happy when you received a letter and a picture of Trump from the White House for your years of service in the navy, and turning 90 years old.

Also we will never forget your smile and how proud you were when you received pictures on your phone of your great grandchildren, and asked us to take them off your phone and make copies of them.

These are just a few memories.
So Rest In Peace Uncle Joe
Love
Paul & Shirley Welch

I remember when we used to come over your house and you used to come over our house. We all used to play cards together. We had an overall good time all together. I remember that you said you were in the navy a long time ago. That's why when we had the parade I held the navy flag. I also remember you, me, and Arissa used to go leaf collecting and look at the different leaves. It was you and Arissa who got me involved in that. These are some of the memories of my beloved uncle Joe. You were a hero! Thank you!

Best wishes to Auntie Ollie
