Lydia and family, I am terribly sorry for your loss, he was an "Awesome" gentleman and "Fantastic" person.  I was truly blessed to have known John for the last 5 1/2 years I have worked at Erland.  I will miss him.

Our sincere condolences to the family.  John was like Leah's other dad for many years.  I know he will be missed but lives on in all of us.

Lydia, Matheau, Sarah, Alexander and Olivia,
I unfortunately haven’t had much contact with your husband/dad over the last 30 years because I moved across the country.  But I do remember him as a very kind, smart, positive and steady man and am very sorry for your loss.  He was personally a big influence on my brother Bobby.  My prayers and positive thoughts for your family...

In just a short time knowing John professionally he was as kind, knowledgeable, and all around salt-of-the earth gentlemen as I have met. The construction world is lesser today without him. My condolences to his family.

Dear Lydia and family, I just noticed John's obituary yesterday. We are so very sorry for your loss. We knew you through school, scouts and sports back when our kids were little and remember John fondly. Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers,
