We are so heartbroken for you Gail and your family. He was such a wonderful man, so full of life, so positive and such a wonderful, amazing grandfather to all his grandchildren. He was there for his country, for his family and for his friends. He fought so hard to defeat this illness and was such an inspiration to all of us. May he now rest in the peace he so deserves.

My family and I were heartbroken to unexpectedly learn of Francis's passing. He was such a special part of our lives, not only as our beloved cousin, but also as a best friend who spent his entire childhood and early adulthood at our house, whether going places or just hanging around at home and enjoying our close-knit group and eating the cookies that Uncle Nick bought for Francis, he was always there.  He was truly more of a brother to us.  I'll never forget all the wonderful times we shared, and what an incredibly kind and fun person he was.  And although as all of us became adults and our jobs, children, and other obligations kept us apart for long periods of time, Francis always remained in our hearts. We missed him before he passed, and will now miss him forever - wishing we could have shared one last, happy visit with him.  But there will always be an empty chair at Aunt Helen's,  a hole in our hearts now that he's gone - and countless memories of the love and laughter and good times that Francis gave us.  Rest in peace, dear brother.
